Call for Artists Artists who are interested in participating in the

Many of the creative arts activities at the Benton Harbor Children's Art Fair are led by professional and teaching artists. Their ideas and energies make the art fair possible and keep it new and exciting. The artist provides the leadership for the activity. The artist also does the planning and acquisition of supplies needed for the activity and transportation of those to the fair site. Volunteers are usually available to help set up an activity and will assist the artist with the operation of the activity if needed. Setup of the activities begins at 8:00 AM on the day of the fair. Setup should be completed by 9:30 AM on fair day. The fair opens to visitors at 10:00 AM and closes at 5:00 PM. Clean-up begins at 5:00 PM When the day is done, the artist is responsible for clean up and removal of the remaining art supplies and leftover materials from the fair grounds. The exhilaration and reward of helping the young at heart create art is why this fair has been so successful for many years. We encourage you to come and be part of this engaging experience.
